Welcome to Taylor’s Place!
We are so grateful you’re here.
Taylor’s Place was created with a simple but powerful vision: to foster an inclusive community for adults with disabilities where connection, creativity, and meaningful engagement are at the heart of everything we do.
In Carroll County, Maryland, many families are searching for opportunities that extend beyond basic services. They are looking for belonging. They are looking for safe, welcoming spaces where adults with disabilities can build friendships, explore interests, and feel truly seen.
Taylor’s Place exists to meet that need.
Through programs like Art Clubs, Book Clubs, Lunch Bunch, and our Bowling Group, we are creating opportunities for adults with disabilities in Carroll County, MD to gather, participate, and grow in community.
Each gathering is designed to be welcoming, structured, and inclusive.
We operate under a bring-your-own-caregiver model. This ensures safety and support while allowing volunteers to focus on what matters most — building connection and encouraging participation.
This blog will serve as a place to share:
• Program updates
• Upcoming events
• Stories from our community
• Resources for families
• Insights into inclusive community building
As we grow, our commitment remains steady: to create an environment that values dignity, belonging, and meaningful engagement for adults with disabilities.
Whether you are a family member, caregiver, volunteer, or community supporter, we are grateful for your interest in Taylor’s Place.
We are just getting started — and we are building this thoughtfully.
Because everyone deserves a place to belong.
If you would like to learn more about upcoming events or ways to get involved, we invite you to explore the rest of our website or connect with us directly.
Welcome to Taylor’s Place. 💛
