Why it Matters
Taylor's Place exists to foster belonging and connection for adults with disabilities. Volunteers help create the welcoming atmosphere that make our gatherings meaningful and safe.
This is not about caregiving. It is about community building.
What We Do
Volunteers may:

Greet participants and caregivers

Assist with activities and clean up

Help distribute materials

Encourage engagement

Lead classes, or outings

Help fundraise
Our Model
Taylor's Place operates under a bring-your-own-caregiver model to ensure the safety and dignity of our participants.
Volunteers do not:

Provide medical or personal care
-
Supervise participants independently
-
Make independent safety decisions
Who We are Looking For
We are seeking volunteers who are:

Compassionate and dependable

Comfortable in group settings

Respectful and patient
-
Able to commit to scheduled events
Our Process
To Ensure a safe and respectful environment, volunteers will complete:
