Taylor’s Place is proud to partner with Grow-On Garden, a beautiful and welcoming space created with purpose, heart, and inclusion in mind.

This partnership brings new opportunities for our community to connect with nature, learn new skills, and build meaningful relationships in a peaceful outdoor setting.

🌱 About Grow-On Garden

Grow-On Garden is being brought to life by Sharron Snapp, a dedicated mother of an adult daughter with a disability.  Through her personal experience, Sharron recognizes that there are not enough opportunities for adults with disabilities to learn, grow, and thrive.

She is passionate about being part of that change—just like we are at Taylor’s Place—which makes this partnership such a natural and meaningful fit.

🌼 What We’ll Do Together

Participants will have the opportunity to enjoy:

  • 🌿 Gardening Time
Hands-on experiences planting, tending, and caring for the garden

  • 🎨 Social & Crafting Gatherings
Relaxed, creative time together in a beautiful outdoor space

  • 🧺 Bring-Your-Own Lunch Meetups
Pack a lunch and enjoy time connecting with friends in nature

🍅 Looking Ahead

As the garden grows, so will our opportunities!

We hope to offer:

  • 🍳 Simple Cooking Lessons using fresh ingredients from the garden

  • 🥕 Opportunities for participants to take home produce they helped grow

  • 🌻 Continued chances to learn, create, and build confidence

There is something truly special about planting, nurturing, and enjoying the fruits of your own hard work.

Did you know that gardening is not just a hobby; it's a fantastic way to boost your physical and mental health. Touching soil releases serotonin, which elevates your mood, while the beneficial microbes in dirt can improve gut health. Walking among plants has been shown to anxiety, and engaging in gardening tasks can help reduce ADHD symptoms. Plus, nurturing and growing plants fosters self-esteem as you witness your efforts flourish. Embrace the many benefits of gardening for a healthier happier you!

💛 Why This Matters

This partnership is about more than gardening—it’s about:
